Hotel Coronas Playa, Costa Teguise. Marketed as upmarket by
holiday companies, the downside is that it’s a ten to fifteen minute walk
away from the centre of town, so unless you have hired a car it’s a taxi
or bus ride away. And the same goes for the closest good beach.
And if you’re after a family holiday this one needs to be knocked off
the list as it’s for over 16’s only.
Previous guests have mixed feelings, with some returning year after year as
they like it so much, while others say it is not as good as some of the Lanzarote
hotels they have stayed in.
Hotel Barcelo, Costa Teguise If you’re worried about
your carbon footprint, the good news is that the Hotel Barcelo has recently
won an award for its work to be more environmentally friendly.
The Barcelo is on the outskirts of town when looking at a , Lanzarote
map and there’s really nothing around within walking distance, so
if you like to be out and about you will need to hire a car…which defeats
the purpose of staying in a hotel that is environmentally friendly. But if the
Lanzarote weather is good
it’s generally fine.
The Barcelo is one of the better hotejavascript:submitbutton('save');ls in Lanzarote if you want entertainment
and food all provided on site, along with activities for the children.
Natura Palace, Playa Blanca The Natura Palace is one of the
upmarket Lanzarote hotels with sea views, a spa, tennis courts and swimming
pools. The hotel has good standards of cleanliness, but for all inclusive holidays
be warned that the menus can be repetitive and not of the best standard. Overall
a good hotel, and the town of Playa Blanca is a twenty minute walk from the
hotel along the promenade, and often guests take a taxi to and from the hotel
to Playa Blanca. This area is also a good one for those considering Lanzarote
villa holidays
